Event rentals across San Jose and the Bay Area
Lunar Productions rents professional audio, lighting, video and staging equipment for corporate events, conferences, weddings, galas, concerts, festivals, graduations and community events throughout San Jose and Silicon Valley. We work the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, downtown hotels and ballrooms, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale corporate campuses, wineries in the Santa Cruz Mountains and backyards across the South Bay.
Everything here can go out as a dry hire or as a full-service package with delivery, setup, a technician and strike. Not sure what you need? Tell us the room, the headcount and what's happening on stage and we'll spec a system that fits — and if it isn't on this list, we'll source it.
Areas we serve: San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Milpitas, Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Morgan Hill, Fremont, Redwood City, San Mateo, San Francisco, Oakland.
Rental questions
- Do you deliver AV rentals in San Jose?
- Yes. We deliver, set up and strike rentals across San Jose, Santa Clara County and the wider Bay Area, or you can pick gear up yourself for a dry hire.
- Can I rent equipment without a technician?
- Yes. Most gear is available as a dry hire. For larger systems — line arrays, LED walls, moving lights — we recommend adding one of our technicians, and we will tell you honestly when you need one.
- How much does it cost to rent a sound system or LED wall?
- It depends on the day count, delivery distance and whether you need setup and a tech, so we quote every rental against your dates. Send us the event details and you will usually have a quote the same day.
- What if the item I need is not on the list?
- Ask. Our list is what we can reliably put on a show, not the limit — we source specialty and rider-specific gear through our Bay Area network.
- How far in advance should I book?
- As early as you can for weekends and the busy spring and fall seasons, but we regularly turn around same-week rentals when inventory allows.
